🔌 SolarEdge vs Enphase vs String Inverter

🧠 How They Work

SolarEdge uses power optimizers on each panel plus one central inverter.
Optimizers squeeze the best performance from each module, but the actual DC-to-AC power conversion happens at the central inverter.

Enphase uses microinverters on each panel.
Each microinverter converts DC to AC right at the panel, so every panel operates independently.

String Inverters are the traditional setup: many panels are wired in series (“a string”) and all send DC to a single string inverter, which converts it to AC.
